Run a push up challenge with friends, for free
Updated
The simplest way to run a push up challenge is to put everyone on one leaderboard that updates as people log. On pushup.cc, add your friends and your Friends board ranks everyone by push ups for the day, week, month or the challenge so far. It is free, and each person logs from their own phone.

Set up a challenge in five minutes
- Everyone signs up free at pushup.cc.
- Send your invite link, or add friends by name from the Clubs tab.
- Agree on a goal: for example 100 push ups a day for 30 days.
- Everyone sets that number as their daily push up goal.
- Open the Board, pick Friends, and choose Day for the daily race or Month for the whole challenge.
Popular challenge formats
- 100 push ups a day for 30 days: track it with a daily goal of 100 and a streak
- Most push ups this month: the Month board on Friends
- First to 10,000: the All board shows lifetime totals
- Daily winner: the Day board resets at midnight Eastern, and medals go to the top three
- Mixed movements: run the same challenge with pull ups, sit ups, dips or squats
For a team, gym or company
Larger groups can use a club: its own leaderboard, its own logo and colors, and its own time zone so the day closes when it closes for you. People join with an invite link, a club code, or a request the owner approves. The club owner pays for the club; members join free.
Train safely
Spread reps through the day, rest when something hurts, and build volume gradually. pushup.cc is a tracker, not medical advice; talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise program.
Questions
How do I track a 30 day push up challenge?
Set your daily push up goal to the challenge number and log each set. The ring shows each day, your streak counts the days in a row you logged, and the Month board on Friends ranks the group.
Who wins ties?
Whoever reached the total first ranks higher.
Can friends in other time zones join?
Yes. Global and Friends days run on Eastern time. A club can set its own time zone instead.
Does it cost anything?
No. Friends boards are free. Only clubs are paid, by the club owner.
