Accessibility Statement

pushup.cc should work for everyone, however you use your phone or computer. This statement covers the pushup.cc website and app.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across pushup.cc. We are not there yet everywhere, and we list the gaps we know about below.

What we do

• Pinch zoom and browser text resizing stay on.
• We build on a component library (MUI) with keyboard support and screen reader semantics, and we aim to give every icon button a text label.
• The leaderboard and progress ring respect your device’s reduced motion setting.
• We are reviewing color contrast across the app’s dark theme.
• We are adding automated accessibility checks for new screens.

Known limitations

• We have not yet completed a full independent accessibility audit.
• Some charts, such as history and race charts, do not yet have full text alternatives. The numbers behind them are shown elsewhere in the app.
• Some animations may not yet follow your reduced motion setting.
• Clubs choose their own colors, and some combinations may have low contrast on club pages.
• Payments run on Stripe’s checkout pages and Sign in with Google runs on Google’s pages. Their accessibility is managed by those companies.

Compatibility

pushup.cc is designed to work with current versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge, and with the screen readers built into iOS, Android, macOS and Windows.

Report a barrier

If something on pushup.cc is hard or impossible for you to use, email support@pushup.cc with "Accessibility" in the subject. Tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and what device, browser and assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable sharing that. We aim to reply within 5 business days. If you need any of our legal pages in another format, ask and we will provide it.

If a barrier stops you from doing something, such as logging a set, deleting your account or canceling a club subscription, email us and we will help you get it done another way. You will not lose a right or pay more because a page did not work for you.

How we assess it

This statement is based on our own review of pushup.cc. We will update it after each audit and as we fix the limitations above.
