Community Guidelines
Last updated: October 3, 2026
The short version
The boards only work if the numbers are real and people treat each other well. Log what you did, keep it decent, and report what is not.
These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. They apply everywhere on pushup.cc, including clubs, game rooms and public club pages.
The honor system
Every rep on pushup.cc is self-reported. We do not ask for video or proof; we trust you. In return, log only reps you actually did, as close to when you did them as you can.
What counts as fake reps
- Logging reps you did not do, or more reps than you did.
- Logging the same set twice on purpose.
- Logging someone else’s reps on your account.
- Counting partial or assisted reps as full ones to climb a board. (Modified reps are fine for your own training; just do not use them to beat people who did full ones.)
- Backdating sets to win a day, week or month that is already over. Adding a set you forgot to log earlier that day is fine.
- Using scripts, bots or bulk entries, or running extra accounts, to move up a leaderboard.
- Entering game results that do not match what you did in the game.
Be decent
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate based on who someone is.
- No sexual, violent, or shocking names, photos, club names or logos. Everything you post should be fine for a mixed audience, including teens.
- No sharing other people’s private information.
- No spam, scams, or advertising in names or club pages.
Names, photos and logos
- Pick a display name and username that are not offensive and do not pretend to be someone else.
- Only upload photos and logos you have the right to use.
- Do not pose as a real person, brand, team or organization, or suggest they endorse you, unless you are them or have their permission.
- Clubs that represent a real organization should be run by people who belong to it.
If you think someone is using your copyrighted photo or logo, see our Copyright and DMCA Policy.
How reporting works
- How to report: use Report a User in the app's Help section where it is available, or email support@pushup.cc with the person's username and what happened.
- Who reviews it: a person on our team reviews every report. We may look at the reported account’s logs and profile, and we may contact you for details.
- Your identity: we do not tell the reported person who reported them.
- Club issues: club owners and admins can remove members from their own club, but reports about breaking these guidelines come to us.
- Emergencies: if someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first.
What our admins can do
Depending on how serious and how repeated a problem is, we may:
- take no action, if we find no problem;
- send a warning;
- change or remove a name, photo, logo or club name;
- remove sets or reset stats;
- hide an account from leaderboards, or move it back to the lobby;
- suspend or close an account; or
- suspend or remove a club.
We may act right away, without a warning first, when we need to protect people or keep the boards fair.
Notice and appeals
When we act on your account or content, we will tell you what we did, why, and which rule it was under, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it. If you think we got it wrong, reply to that message or email support@pushup.cc with "Appeal" in the subject within 6 months. A person will look at it again and tell you the result. If we got it wrong, we will undo what we can.
